Dave Nystrom was born in 1933 and passed away in 2021.   

Dave was a successful business man, husband, father and mentor to many! He was a leader in his community and a faithful supporter of his Christian faith.

Casa Hogar Los Angelitos was a huge part of Dave's life since he and Nancy founded the home in 1995.  He was a generous

and warm man who did not seek credit or public attention with the work he did with Casa Hogar. It was his strength and his support financially and emotionally that enabled this work to succeed. He was loved and respected by the children, especially those who have grown up learning through the strength of his example.

 

While his physical presence will be missed, the unconditional love  he showed for this project will  continue to live in the lives of all the children who are now grown, whose lives were changed, and those who will continue to be loved and blessed as a result of the seeds he has helped to plant.

 

The children of CHLA, as well as the community in Manzanillo, will be gathering on June 11th from 6-9pm to celebrate his life, in addition to celebrating two special Quinceaneras and a performance by the Ballet Folklorico. It will be a special way to Welcome Summer and we hope you can join us!
